Hi everyone,
my name is Kirsten and I'm a graphic and visual designer from California. My mission is to shape the future of companies by creating impactful designs that effectively convey brand messages, meet the needs of users, and deliver holistic and positive brand experiences. Studying media design and Designmanagement, I've honed my skills in project management and adopted a human-centered and strategic approach to my work. As a self-employed designer, I've successfully led over 40 design projects, helping more than 30 clients from various industries to create marketing materials, engaging digital designs, and other visual content to reach their target audience, increase their sales volume and overall market value. My friends and family describe me as positive, collaborative, and highly motivated. Outside of work, I enjoy making music, photography, and exploring new cultures and places.
Throughout my undergraduate studies, I acquired a fundamental understanding of design. Subsequently, in my masters degree program in design management, I gained a managerial and business-oriented approach to design. In addition to my academic experience, I have also gained over four years of practical experience as a self-employed visual designer.
Driven by a passion for design, I constantly challenge and push myself to deliver exceptional results on every project. My deep curiosity and empathetic nature enable me to grasp the motivations, needs, and concerns of both the company and its customers. By adopting a dual perspective, I can design solutions that meet the demands of all stakeholders, delivering maximum value and satisfaction.
I am often characterized as a highly dependable and motivated individual. To avoid last-minute pressure, I am strongly committed to completing my tasks promptly. My acute attention to detail enables me to carry out my responsibilities with care and thoroughness.
In my design projects, I not only try to scratch the surface of a brand, but also take into account strategy- and innovation management approaches, such as the double diamond, design thinking and agile management methods. This enables me to work more efficiently and deliver customer-friendly products.
During my bachelor studies in early 2019 I started my own business and have been working as a self-employed graphic and visual designer since then. I really enjoy working on a variety of different and challenging projects that help me stay up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and design trends.
so far, I’ve successfully led over 40 design projects, helping more than 30 clients from various industries around the world create impactful marketing materials, engaging digital designs, and other visual content to reach their target audience, increase their sales volume and overall market value.
